Welcome everyone! It is I, Ms. Kurosaki! I am here to inform everyone that starting this coming Friday, June 15th, 2012 that I (And hopefully alongside two other student teachers) will be offering a suggested and non-required class, Basic Chemistry + General Math. My English/History counterpart, Ms. Benjamin, may also offer a Literature Arts-History Combination class as well during the same time. In order to take this class, you MUST be recommended by me (for BCGM) or by Ms. Benjamin (for L&H) or referred to us by someone who was recommended. Some required items for my Basic Chemistry + General Math class are as follows:
#1: At LEAST Two No. 2 Pencils! (No pen, please! We correct our work often!)
#2: A clean or separate notebook from your other classes!
#3: A calculator (It is a MUST!)
#4: If you can, your planner! (Or at least a Periodic Table of Elements!)
#5: YOUR BRAIN!!! (I hope that you are all attentive during this class...)
Setting required items aside, as for requirements to take this class, you MUST have been recommended to take Chemistry or Physics for a science class next year, and Algebra 2 or higher for a math class next year. Another requirement to take this class is to have been recommended by either me, or another student who was recommended by me. Your last option is to personally request that you would like to take this class.
